John is a native of Atanta, Georgia. He obtained a BBA in Finance from Valdosta State College in 1982. He earned his CPA License in 1987.

In 2007 he purchased the oldest home in Dublin, Georgia and moved his office to that location. Built in 1873 by Confederate Captain Hardy Smith, the home has been undergoing renovation for years through a foundation and since his purchase of the home has continued the restoration effort. As a CPA John offers accounting and tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. Since 1996 he has owned his own firm, John C. Hall, Jr. CPA, PC.

In addition to owning his own CPA firm, John has been an instructor of Accounting at the Heart of Georgia Technical School located in Dublin, Georgia.

Before John Started his own CPA firm he was the Controller of Atlantic American Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia for 9 years. Previous to that he worked for one of the largest CPA firms in the world KPMG.

John has in addition to owning his own CPA firm owned a retail shipping store located in Roswell, Georgia for 5 years from 1996 through 2001. The experience of owning and managing a retail store gives him the small business experience that makes him a unique CPA who understands the small business owner experience.
